The world is no longer kept apart. With its parts and pieces becoming ever more connected, people of different ethnic backgrounds and cultural differences are now easily within reach and will be working alongside you in the foreseeable future. But are we prepared for this diverse and borderless world and face challenges that requires you to reach across the aisle? Or are we too accustomed to our comfort zone, afraid that such a challenge would be just a bit too much for your current capacity for change?

Pan Asia Model United Nations was established with this in mind. Believing that abilities. such as communication, discussion, critical thinking, and social skills, are essential skills that prepare us for the ever-changing world, PAMUN hopes to provide a platform for students from all around the world to communicate, discuss, debate, and have fun. By engaging in international affairs and making friends from all around the world, we aspire to inspire a generation of youngsters who are willing to cross borders, both literally and figuratively, to bring positive change to our society.

In order to bring about the change we wish to see in this world, Pan Asia Model United Nations mobilizes the MUN community in Taiwan every year to recruit people who share our beliefs from various schools and diverse backgrounds. We hope that PAMUN can provide a platform for both our host team members and our participants to learn, to grow, to dream, and to become a real global citizen within the process.
